Chiang Mai Collection #2

Strolling along Nimmanhaemin Road and surrounding neighborhood, there is beauty and calm amid the chaos and traffic. The intersection on the Super Highway outside Maya Shopping Centre is constantly jammed with traffic and pedestrians. Weaving between bikes and cars, I cross to Think Park, a familiar landmark where people sit, meet friends or shop at the outdoor markets.

Think Park

Thick green vines and branches covering the entrance to shops and restaurants provide much-needed cooling and contrast from the heat of the street.

Bamboo Tree

Outside a local massage business, shoes are thrown off before customers enter the building.

Completely breathtaking is the only way to describe the height of trees I see while walking along Soi 15.

Hot red decorative fans at the front of Hot Chili Bar & Restaurant create a cool, colorful awning.
